Introduction to Value Investing

Pre-requisite: Financial Management

Students learn how to identify, analyze and compare undervalued companies that offer a significant margin of safety to their intrinsic value. This course follows the methodology outlined by Professor Bruce Greenwald in his book, “Value Investing: From Graham to Buffett and Beyond.” Topics include:

  • Net Asset Value
  • Earnings Power Value
  • Franchise Value
  • Growth Value
  • Margin of Safety
